👋 About Kitchen Proteins

Real Food. Real Protein. No Guesswork.

We’re a small team building high-protein recipes and free tools for people who want to hit their goals without eating like it’s a chore.

Our Story

Why Kitchen Proteins Exists

Kitchen Proteins started with a simple frustration: most high-protein recipes online were either bland, took an hour to make on a weeknight, or weren’t actually as high in protein as they claimed. We wanted something different, food that hits your protein number and still tastes like something you’d genuinely want to eat again.

So we started testing. Every recipe on this site is cooked in a real kitchen, on a real weeknight schedule, before it’s published. We measure the protein, we time the cook, and we only publish what we’d actually make for ourselves.

Along the way, we noticed something else: people didn’t just want recipes, they wanted to know how much protein they actually needed, and how to plan for it. So we built the tools to go with the food.

Our Standards

How We Build Every Recipe

1
We cook it first. Every recipe is made in a real kitchen before it’s published, not written from a formula.
2
We measure the protein. Protein counts are calculated from the actual ingredients and portions used, not rounded estimates.
3
Our tools use established formulas. Our calculators are built on the Mifflin-St Jeor equation, the same one used in clinical nutrition research.
4
We keep it practical. Every recipe uses ingredients you can find at a regular grocery store, no specialty items required.
